I’m an American expat living in the Philippines since February 2008. Bantayan Island has had my interest since shortly after I arrived and read about it in the paper.

Once I visited I fell in love with the place. My goal is to visit often and share with you, what I find.

Nice read, buddy. Now I’m gonna have to divide my time on Bantayan between Tristan’s and Tickety Boo. I’m curious though about the prices of meals at the TB restaurant. If you can give me an idea of how much I might expect to pay for food there, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Rusty,

This is Bill, owner of Tickety Boo.

You comments and observations are well received and have been acted on. As you will appreciate, due to the fact that I live on the resort, points you have highlighted are overlooked.

Access to the beach is now much easier, as we have added hand rails. Fans are available on request, or if the staff observe that clients are feeling the heat. We are planning to redesign the roof and adding permanent ceiling fans (in about 2-3 months time) The aircon is now switch on at 7pm, so giving time for the live music room time to cool.

I hope all people reading you site will understand the value of making positive comments and recommendations in the manner you have.

    Best regards

    Bill
