Bantayan Island Hopping Trip to Virgin Island

Many of the Bantayan Island Beach Resorts offer island hopping trips.  The most frequent destination is Virgin Island.  Virgin Island is near Bantayan, in fact, you can easily see it from the Bantayan Island.

Many go snorkeling in route to Virgin Island.  Virgin Island is even more secluded than Bantayan Island with even fewer people

there. It is famous for on the beach fish fries.  You can often see people cooking and eating fish on the beaches of Virgin Island. It isn’t expensive to head over there, a pump boat and guide will cost around P1500.  Most of them will also supply your snorkeling gear.

I found this video of Virgin Island and decided I would share it here.  It is not my video.  I plan a trip to a Bantayan Island Beach Resort soon and I might just take that trip over to Virgin Island on this visit.

 

To Malapascua Island from Bantayan Island

Some also take an Island hopping trip to Malapascua but that is a longer trip.  Malapascua is famous for its diving and less so than its beaches.  I’ve not visited Malapascua yet either.  The cost I’m usually given for a trip from Bantayan to Malapascua is about P5000.  Since I live close to Malapascua, I think I’ll just make that a special trip before much longer.
